Marjie was born in Atlanta, Georgia, raised in Des Moines, Iowa and earned a B.A. degree from Hollins Univeristy in Roanoke, Virginia.  Before discovering Big Sky and purchasing property in 1987, Marjie lived in New York City, Brussels, Belgium and Charlotte, NC.  A full time resident of Big Sky since 1991, Marjie joined Big Sky Properties in 1995.  She is a longtime Board Member of the Arts Council of Big Sky.  Additionally, Marjie is a PSIA certified adult ski instructor and has been teaching at Big Sky Resort since 1991.
